Born and brought up in Kolkata, India, Aruna was taught to embrace her creative spirit at a young age and started to perform for audiences as a child. This journey has now brought her to perform alongside the likes of X-Factor U.K. finalist Kevin Davey White, whom she recently supported in opening for acclaimed composer and pianist Jools Holland. With Aruna’s own music being featured in renowned publications such as Rolling Stone India, Indian Express, and The Telegraph Two, the singer has been making waves in the Indian music industry and is ready to expand her influence worldwide. Her anthemic pop-rock tunes are influenced by a range of artists including Taylor Swift, Maisie Peters, Olivia Rodrigo, and Avril Lavigne.
